Board of Trustees Appointed Officers & Standing Committees Publicity CommitteeThe Nevada Library Association has had a long-standing interest in the importance of public relations for libraries and the association. In 1956, there was a "radio tapes" committee, and the next year saw the formation of a public relations committee. In 1969, the office was changed from a committee chairmanship to a "publicity coordinator." In 1974, the officer became the "publicity director." In 1980, the publicity director was changed back to a committee and the duties of the National Library Week Committee were also made a part of the Publicity Committee's duties. OFFICERS
