On Monday, January 22, 2001, the Nevada Library
Association Executive Board voted to adopt the following Legislative
Agenda.
Cost
for each
Support continuation of funding
formula for public libraries to the budget of the Nevada State
Library and Archives (NRS 378.087). Begin discussions of
increasing this request to 2.4 million.

Fund request for statewide
purchase of computer databases:
$ 500,000.00
Support bill for school library books.
In addition, we recommend NLA take a strong
leadership position on any bills that may affect intellectual freedom.
