For the Shop-oholics and those interested in visiting some of the newer casinos on the Strip. The Bus will take you from the Texas Station and drop you off at the Fashion Show Mall.  Across from the Wynn Las Vegas, you will find one of the nation's largest shopping centers and Las Vegas' premier retail destination, Fashion Show offers seven flagship department stores, including Saks Fifth Avenue, Dillard's, Neiman Marcus, Robinsons-May, Nevada's only Nordstrom, and Bloomingdale's Home along with over 250 extraordinary shops and restaurants. If you are not planning on visiting the casinos or shopping the restaurants here are not to be missed. – Especially after a long day at pre-conference or after you checked in to your hotel room and wondered where everyone is at.

New Members’ Breakfast Thursday August 17^th 7:00 am

Do you remember what its like to be a new member?  What to do, where to go, who should I talk to? Join us for the New Members’ Breakfast.  You don’t have to be new to help someone new have a great first conference!  Introduce them to someone you know.  Gossip about what you have heard and generally help them out and meet new people and make new friends. It is also a great place to recruit new blood for your Interest Groups and Committees and get someone excited to help plan the next conference...$20.00

Have Lunch and meet and greet your conference exhibitors. You will feel like a stage star (literally) as you ascend center stage to grab your lunch in the exhibits hall. - $10.00

This sponsored event will provide various finger foods, cash bar with beer and wine sponsored by Thomson Gale.  It also provides an opportunity to meet and greet your sales representatives from companies serving you throughout the state and region.  Please Register if you plan to attend as this will assist with food selection and quantity.

NYRA Breakfast and Awards Ceremony

Join us for a Breakfast buffet with Neal Shusterman, this year’s winner of the Nevada Young Reader’s YA Award for Full Tilt will discuss his work, including Downstairs, The Schwa Was Here and his new novel Everlost due out this October. Meet the author and hear him speak, possibly between bites of biscuits and gravy….as he accepts his award and inspires young readers and others in attendance at this year’s feature event. $15.00 Children, $25.00 Adult
