HYATT REGENCY LAKE LAS VEGAS RESORT SITE OF LIBRARY CONFERENCE

Henderson, NV—The Nevada Library Association’s (NLA) 58th Annual Conference is being held Wednesday, August 11 through Saturday, August 14, 2004, at the Hyatt Regency Lake Las Vegas Resort.

Felton Thomas, administrator for the West Las Vegas Library and 2004 NLA president, is excited about hosting this year’s conference in a resort setting: “This 4-Star resort is the perfect setting for four days of professional development and networking opportunities. Feel free to bring the entire family for a mid-August vacation.”

The amenities are exceptional; from the Spa Moulay and Fitness Center and Reflection Bay Golf Club to the Camp Hyatt for Kids, featuring a variety of supervised day and evening camp activities for children ages 3-12, the Hyatt offers a relaxing experience for conference-goers of all ages.

Features include:

• A white sand beach surrounding two lagoon-style swimming pools with waterslide, wading area, landscaped decks and privacy cabanas

• Exotic dining options, including Pacific-Rim inspired cuisine to Moroccan fare
• State-of-the-art fitness center and full service salon, plus nine treatment rooms with distinct lounge areas offering extravagant amenities to revive and replenish

• A 7,261-yard, par-72 Jack Nicklaus designed golf course set on the tranquil shores of Lake Las Vegas, recently named to Golf Magazine’s “Top 10 You Can Play”
