Bring a Child to the Nevada Young Readers’ Award Luncheon
The Nevada Young Readers' Award is presented
annually to four authors and an illustrator who are selected by
the young people of Nevada. Three of this year's winners will be
present Saturday, November 8, to receive their awards at the
Nevada Young Readers' Award Luncheon: Picture Book Category,
Arthur Howard for Hoodwinked; Intermediate Category,
Roland Smith for Zach's Lie; and Young Adult Category,
Ben Mikaelsen for Touching Spirit Bear. The public is
invited to share lunch with these distinguished guests and hear
them speak about their work. The event will be held at the Hyatt
Regency Lake Tahoe Resort and Casino in Incline Village, Nevada
from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Lakeside Ballroom. An author
