Author Signing and Tahoe Cruise: Two Events

Two of the
events planned for the Nevada Library Association/Mountain Plains
Library Association joint conference are an authors’ book signing
and a breathtaking cruise of beautiful Lake Tahoe.
On Wednesday,
November 5th, a group of authors will gather at the
conference to talk with participants and sign copies of their
books. The tentative list of authors includes nationally renowned
personalities Stephen Coonts and Dale Brown.
On the afternoon
of Thursday, November 6th, attendees will be able to
cruise the crystal waters of Lake Tahoe. The paddlewheel boat
Tahoe Queen will pick up passengers on the dock at the conference
hotel for a two and a half hour, narrated voyage.
No-host food and
beverage will be available.
The 2003 Nevada
Library Association/Mountain Plains Library Association joint
conference will be held November 5-8, 2003 at the Hyatt Regency
Lake Tahoe Resort and Casino, located on the shore of beautiful
Lake Tahoe. Reservations can be made online at the Hyatt’s special
reservation website,

In order to obtain conference room rates, attendees must use the
designated website or mention the conference when contacting Hyatt
